Pastor Lisa & Joe Parfitt
Pastor Lisa has pastored New Beginnings since January of 2012. She and Pastor Scott Spencer founded New Beginnings in 1995 and co-pastored until Pastor Scott went to his heavenly home in 2011. Since that time, Pastor Lisa has continued to pastor and carry on the vision of New Beginnings.
Pastor Lisa married Joe Parfitt in 2014. Together, they have six children and fourteen grandchildren. They are passionate about strengthening families and ministering hope to the hurting and lost. Pastor Lisa’s ministry of the Word is refreshing, encouraging and challenging.

Our mission is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the Upstate; to reach the lost, hurting, and the rejected; to restore hope; and to assist people in fulfilling their purpose and destiny in Him.
The Bible is the infallible Word of God.

In the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, He is the Son of God and the second person of the Trinity.
Salvation is God’s free gift received by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
The infilling of the Holy Spirit is a separate event from salvation manifested through the operation of the nine spiritual gifts, which are meant to uplift the body.
In water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
In the bodily return of Jesus Christ to the Earth at the end of the age.
